I'm honestly not sure who's more of a badass in this flick -- Tom Hardy as the title character, or Charlize Theron as Furiosa, a war-ready lady who goes rogue in the name of girl power and shaved heads. There's also Nux, a "War Boy," who has one foot permanently attached to the gas pedal and flirts with death in the name of eternal glory... though, lucky for him, he's not very successful.
This film is the visual manifestation of the ofted-referenced Prefontaine quote, "The best pace is suicide pace, and today looks like a good day to die."
