Sarah Leinheiser continued her standout fall with another individual win (17:49) to lead Flo50 #4 ranked Carmel High School of Indiana to the team title with 39 points. This even without No. 2 runner Madelyn Dalton. Leinheiser's run marked her first time cracking the 18-minute barrier.

"A tremendous change in weather conditions late in the week really gave all competitors a great opportunity to race on a great course this morning," Greyhounds head coach Mark Ellington said. "The course was a little wet and soft in places, but a good experience was to be had by most. Both our varsity and JV squads competed well today. Sarah's victory and sub 18 minute race was inspirational (her first time below that standard). Christina Geisler and Rachel Anderson had PR races (both broke 19 minutes). Daphne Boom continues to impress with a solid race. I continue to be very excited with the level of competitiveness this team shows. They are improving on their racing each and every week."

The Carmel boys also won the team title, led by freshman Calvin Bates in ninth place (16:04.18).

Julien Magallanes of Borden won the individual title in 15:14.19.

The Greyhounds will next compete in the Valkyrie Invitational in Louisville, KY on September 19.
