Andrew Hunter is the top returning finisher in the South region this year after finishing 4th last year at Foot Locker National
The South region hosts some dominant returners, but none more dominant than Drew Hunter. The rising senior will look to reclaim the South Region title again this year, and possibly go on to take the national title in California as the top returner. The rising senior will see some tough competition from several other top returners, one being Carter Blunt of Frisco Independence (TX). Blunt finished runner-up behind Hunter at last year's Foot Locker South Regional, and 13th at Foot Locker Nationals. Another top returner is Jeremy Brown who opted to run NXN last year, finishing 23rd. Rising seniors Gannon Willcutts (VA) and Steven Cross (FL) will look to be in the mix as well after finishing 7th and 8th respectively in the South region last year.
