MileSplit All-American Team - Girls Triple Jump Presented by New Balance

Bria Matthews went undefeated in the Triple Jump all year and finished U.S. No. 1 with her 43-5.5 leap.

1. Bria Matthews (Forest Park, GA - Sr.) - Matthews captured the Georgia state title in the Triple Jump with her U.S. No. 1 mark of 43-5.5. She went undefeated on the year and took the victory at the USATF Georgia Assn Jr. Olympics.

2. Asa Garcia (Texas City, TX - Sr.) - Garcia won her second straight Texas state title with her 42-5.75 jump at the UIL meet. That jump put her at U.S. No. 2 on the year. She also was the New Balance Nationals Indoor champion after jumping U.S. No. 5 All-Time Indoor 43-2.5. Garcia also finished second at the Texas Relays and first at the TTFCA Meet of Champions.

3. Kiara Williams (Homewood, AL - Sr.) - Williams went undefeated on the year en route to capturing the AHSAA 7A state title in the Triple Jump. At New Balance Nationals Outdoor, she jumped the U.S.No. 6 mark of 41-9 to take the national title.

4. Chinne Okoronkwo (Mountlake Terrace, WA - Jr.) - The Washington state champion jumped U.S. No. 4 with her 41-10.25 mark at the Washington state meet. Okoronkwo finished first at the Arcadia Invite, sixth at the Caribbean Scholastic Invite, second at New Balance Nationals Outdoor, and second at the USATF Jr. Nationals.

5. Kennedy Jones (Castro Valley, CA - Sr.) - Jones took home the California state title in the Triple Jump with her 42-5.25 mark, putting her at U.S. No. 3 on the year. She also finished second at the Mt. Sac Relays and sixth at the USATF Jr. Nationals.

6. Tara Davis (Agoura, CA - So.) - Davis was the California state runner-up after her U.S. No. 8 mark of 41-6.75. She also took victories at the Texas Relays and the USATF World Youth Trials.

7. Christina Chenault (Carondelet, CA - Sr.) - Chenault finished third at the Arcadia Invite and third at the California state meet. At the USATF Jr. Nationals, she finished third with her U.S. No. 5 jump of 41-10.

8. Lajarvia Brown (Alton, IL - So.) - Brown had an almost undefeated season until USATF World Youth Trials where she finished second. However, she still jumped the U.S. No. 7 mark of 41-7.75 at that meet. She was took the state title at the IHSA state meet.

MileSplit All-American Girls Team
