This could be one of the most stacked races we will witness at New Balance Nationals Outdoors this year. The field consists of 25, yes 25, of the girls from the U.S. top 50 rankings! One top of that we will have a showdown between U.S. No. 2, 3, and 4 in Alex Harris, Emily Burns, and Suzy Petryk. Harris, only a sophomore, leads the field with her 6:52.70 mark and hopes to take home her first NBNO crown. However, Burns is looking to improve upon her sixth place finish in this event from last year.
Expect a closely packed, intense race all around as these girls chase those steeples this weekend.
