While many eyes were on the outcome of the boys distance medley relay on Friday at the Penn Relays, the fastest time of the weekend nationally was not produced from Franklin Field, but instead in the far Northwest by the North Central boys of Washington. Anchored by a 4:10 split from Nike Cross Nationals champ Tanner Anderson, the North Central squad also including Justin Janke (3:04 1200), Isaac Wicks (52 sec 400), and Andrew Vandine (1:56 800) ran just off the nation's best time with a US #2 performance of 10:05.83 at the Mooberry Relays.
