Madie Boreman - Double quick on her feet

If you're a national caliber athletes in track and field, please step forward. If you're a national caliber athlete in another sport, please take another step forward. These are our adidas My Boost athletes. The adidas My Boost video series features athletes who not only excel in track and field, but are able to take their talents to another sport. Or, maybe, it's the other way around. Either way, the adidas My Boost athletes exemplify the total athlete. Sponsored by adidas

Madie Boreman, a sophomore distance runner at Leander Rouse High School in Texas, also pulls double time as a soccer star at her school. Boreman won the Texas 4A state title at 1600 meters last spring as a freshmen and earned an invitation to the 2013 adidas Dream Mile which she placed 7th in the elite race in New York City with a PR of 4:46. Being multi-talented as well as quick on her feet both on the track and on the soccer field helped Boreman to be selected and featured in the adidas my boost dual sport athlete video series earlier this spring.

A two-time national qualifier in cross country, the two-sport athlete Boreman is looking to get back to well under 5 minutes again in the post-season coming up after just competing in the UIL Texas State Championships and juggling soccer games, practices, and commitments for much of the spring.
