On an extremely muggy day the schools from Richmond came out on top in the boys. The Trinity boys, without one of their top five, continued to dominate the private school competition. They won easily as Guy Shelby, Mac Stehler, and Alden Knipe went 1-2-3. The Saint Christopher boys were a distant 2nd but well in front of the rest of the field.
In the girls race was a preview for what should be a very close TCIS championship next week. Hannah Frazier and Colleen Schrader led the way for Bishop Sullivan running the #2 and #3 times(18:29 & 18:30) run on the current Norfolk Academy course which is in its 5th season of use. That was enough to hand Norfolk Academy their first home loss of the season by winning a tiebreak at 51 points. It was Norfolk Academy's first home loss to another private school in over two years.
