Rockets Take 28th at NCAA Championships; Fisher An All-American in 26th Place Nov 22, 2010

The No. 27 Toledo women's cross country team wrapped up the 2010 campaign by earning a 28th-place finish at the NCAA Div. I Women's Cross Country Championship Monday afternoon. Ari Fisher earned All-American status by placing 26th overall, the second-highest showing by a Rocket at the national meet (Shook, 24th, 2002).

Emily Infeld Takes Second Place at NCAA Division I Cross Country Championship Nov 22, 2010

In just her junior season on the Hilltop, Emily Infeld (University Heights, Ohio/Beaumont) is now a six-time All-American and the 2010 NCAA Division I Runner-Up. On a cloudy day in Terre Haute, Ind., the race was all too familiar as Infeld battled BIG EAST foe Sheila Reid for the NCAA Division I Cross Country Championship individual crown today. A mere 2.3 seconds separated the two as Infeld took second place (20:09.2), leading the Hoyas to a fourth-place finish (167 points) on the LaVern Gibson Championship Course at the Wabash Valley Family Sports Center. The men finished 29th overall with 644 points.

Ruck Finishes 90th at NCAA Cross Country Championships Nov 22, 2010

Clemson junior Kim Ruck finished in 90th place at the NCAA Cross Country Championships on Monday at the LaVern Gibson Course. Ruck posted a time of 21:17.2 over the 6,000m course on a cold, windy afternoon in Indiana. It put a close on another strong season for Ruck, who earned all-region status for the second straight cross country campaign.
