USATF Junior Olympics Champs 2004

South Carolina USA Track and Field Youth Chair Valerie Beesley announced on Friday that University of South Carolina Columbia is allowing the use of Weems Baskin Track and Field complex for the 2004 South Carolina USATF Junior Olympic State Track and Field Championships.

United Stars Track Club of Philly captured the Intermediate Girls 4x800 in 9:12.53, and took 2nd in the Youth Girls 4x800, going 9:18.52. In other finals, Michael Wiles, Nadia TC, cleared 6-05.50 to take 3rd in the Intermediate Boys High Jump. Other highlights include Chanelle Price of the United Stars, taking 2nd in the Youth Girls 800 in 2:13.54, and Michael Wiles, Nadia Track Club, getting 3rd in the Intermediate Boys High Jump, clearing 6-05.50.

The SCTCCCA released the 2004 summer meeting minutes Monday. SCTrackworld webmaster and Eastside Head Coach Ed Boehmke opened the meeting that took place on July 27 at 4:04 p.m. in Greenville.
