Joe Reese Memorial Relays 2020

Dear Coaches, You are invited to attend the Joe Reese Memorial Relays. Joe was a former All AIC WR and was drafted by the Green Bay Packers and played for legendary coach Vince Lombardi. In 1970 Joe joined the Hot Springs coaching staff serving as head track coach and assistant football coach. His track team won three conference titles and one state championship. The football team won four conference championships and reached the state playoffs five times including 2 state championships. From 1979-1990 Reese served as Head Football Coach, Athletic Director, and Dean of Students at Hot Springs High School. During this period, his teams won four conference championships and reached the state playoffs five times. Joe passed away in 2013 and this meet is to honor him. Spots in this meet will be limited. This will be a AAA certified state qualifying track meet. Event Limits 2 Individual, 3 in Sprints (100M/200M) / 1 Relay. There will ONLY be 3 attempts in shot, disc, long jump, and triple jump. Meet Fees $60 Per Team $100 Per School. Payments accepted on race day. There will be a coach's meeting at 3:00 in our indoor football facility behind the visitor bleachers. All visiting teams should set their tents up in the visitors bleachers. Field Events and 3200 Meter Relay will start at 3:30. Spots will be limited so please contact me ASAP if you plan to attend.
