MileStat.com Elite Track Classic 2020

Richmond, VA

Meet Information

After a 5 year hiatus, the MileStat.com Elite Track Classic is coming back in 2020 to Richmond, Virginia at Sports Backers Stadium! This meet is a unique format that caters to team's strengths and allows more entries in the events that are deeper in rather given token entries in events that not as strong in or have as many numbers. Distance schools get more entries in the distance races, sprint schools get more entries in the sprints, and so on. A strong and deep team will likely get many more athletes in this meet than a typical invitational which allows a set limit of 2-3 athletes per team per event.

The relay session on day 1 has always produced fast times with athletes more fresh with a singular focus on those events rather than doubling or tripling back from earlier individual running events.

This meet is put on the same weekend as Penn Relays for a reason as we believe too many athletes are left home without a meet to compete in on typically a great weather weekend who could be achieving personal and season bests as well as championship meet qualifying times. Whether getting your athlete qualified for nationals/state championships or lower level of a conference championship, this meet caters to both.

We pride ourselves on running a very efficient and well staffed event at a top class college venue in the VCU's Sports Backers Stadium.

Meet Entry Limitations

We will accept the first 60 high schools who send in an entry deposit of $150 (for smaller teams) or their full entry fee of $450 (full teams). Note if your team will have 30 or more individual entrants, your entry fee total will be at and capped at $450 max. Can be paid online thru entry system or via check in mail.

We want to make the entry fee system straightforward with more flat fees and not have to worry about last minute and week of the meet invoice/check cutting with teams trying to tabulate their final entry total.

Unlimited entries in all individual events as long as athletes have a verified performance, which meets the qualifying standard.

"A" and "B" squads allowed in relay races.

The meet will be LIVE streamed and broadcasted on MileSplit.com.
