Inviting all teams that county border Henry County (Butts,Clayton, Dekalb, Fayette, Newton, Rockdale, and Spalding).

Join the Woodland Wolf Pack at the first annual Battle of The Borders. Henry County schools and schools from surrounding counties will battle for the border title. We will have some of the best talent in the state of Georgia.
Special Event:
Mixed gender 4X400m, and 4X800m (Teams must consist of 2 boys and 2 girls)
Entries Per Event: Each school is allowed 4 entries for all field events and open track races. The open 800m will be limited to 3 entries per team since we will be running the 4x800. Relays are limited to 3 teams from each school.

FIELD EVENTS: (Participants should report to their respective competition areas.)
(3 trials each in Discus Throw, Long Jump, Shot Put, Triple Jump)
RUNNING EVENTS: The order of all common running event heats will be girls followed by boys. The 4x100 Meter Relay will begin at the conclusion of all field events.

All participants in a running event should check in with the clerk of course in this area to receive hip numbers, lane, & heat assignments.
Entries Per Event: Each school is allowed 4 entries for all field events and open track races. The open 800m will be limited to 3 entries per team since we will be running the 4x800. Relays are limited to 3 teams from each school.
Entry Fees: $80 per school for each team or $150 for both girls&boys teams. Checks/Money Orders should be made out to Woodland High School.
Scoring: 8 places will score (10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1).
Medals: Individual medals will be given to the top 3 finishers in each event.
Trophies: Team trophies .
Field Events: All field events athletes will take 3 attempts.
Warm-up Area: The warm-up area is on the practice field located behind the track. No warm-ups are permitted on the infield.
Drop-off: All buses will park in the back of the school where the sign indicates buses. Parents and spectators should drop off and park in the parking areas located in front of the school
Tents: No tents will be allowed in the home bleachers. Tents will be allowed in the visitors bleachers.
