Meet Information
New Paltz Early Bird Invitational, Saturday 7 April 2018
The New Paltz Track and Field team is happy to invite your team to Our Early Bird Invitational on 7 April 2018, starting at 9:15 am.
The intent of this meet is to provide teams with a chance to get seed times before the dual meet season begins in a relaxed atmosphere that offers competition.
To keep fees low, there will be no awards, and minimal officials.
Timing will be done by FAT (Tim Fulton)fully automatic timing, entries will be
done on line thru MILESPLIT
All teams will receive a complete set of meet results,
and team scores will be calculated/published.
Entry Fee: $150 flat fee for Boys team, Girls team, or both.
**This is a non refundable entry fee, not a participation fee**
Entry declaration-
Intent to enter must be emailed to dbartlett@newpaltz.k12.ny.us by 28 March 2018.

-Due by noon Thursday, 5 April 2018
-Must Be Done through Milesplit
-Please be accurate with entries- once entries close, scratches only;
no reseed will be done after entries are closed
Refreshments: Stadium snack bar will be open
Equipment: Up to spikes are allowed, bring your own starting blocks.
Team Areas: will be outside the stadium fence, either in the stands (please- team tents in back/top row only) or on the grass. Athletes not being clerked or competing should remain outside the fence.
Order of Events: Start Time: 9:15 am (coaches meeting at 9 am)
Running events will be Girls then Boys, slow to fast
All times will be recorded, and event scoring (10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1) will be final on time except for the 100 and 100/110 hurdles.**
**In the 100 and 100/110 hurdles the Top 24 entries will be seeded into 4 heats of semis; Finals will be first in heat plus next two fastest times**
