The Eastvale school was second at the CIF-State Division 1 finals, a close 15 points behind four-time champion Great Oak. Chavez and Sahagun joined three seniors in scoring for Roosevelt. Chavez was the No. 5 sophomore finisher in the State D1 race and will be the No. 11 returner next season.
