WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
All teenage cross-country runners and clubs are invited to participate in the NXN Series which includes the Nike Cross Nationals Regional Championships in eight select cities across the United States.
The clubs and individuals competing in Nike Cross Nationals are selected through a series of regional qualifying events. The nine regions represented are: Heartland, Midwest, Northwest, Southwest, South, Northeast, Southeast, California and New York. There are also four at-large clubs.
In addition, NXN in Portland will feature the NXN Open Race for any additional clubs and individuals willing to test their mettle across the championship course!
Eligibility
You can compete in Nike Cross Nationals if you are in good standing with the NCAA, on track to graduate per your high schools guidelines and have not been dismissed from your team for disciplinary reasons. Individuals may compete as well according to the guidelines noted above. All individuals must compete unattached.

*Team Entry - group of 5-7athletes registered as a scoring team
**Bulk entry - Once your total entry fee reaches $350, you are allowed unlimited registrations at no additional charge. This includes any combination of Teams and Individuals on the same account.
HOW DO YOU QUALIFY?
Automatic qualifiers into Nike Cross Nationals from the NXN Regionals: The top two placing clubs in each gender of the Championship Division race at each NXN regional will earn automatic berths to NXN in Portland. Additionally, the top five placing individuals who are not on automatically placing clubs will advance to NXN as individual qualifiers.
At-Large qualifiers into Nike Cross Nationals from the NXN Regionals: A total of four at-large club berths per gender will be awarded. Clubs placing either third or fourth in the Championship Division race at each NXN regional will move into a pool of clubs receiving consideration for advancing to NXN as an at-large qualifier. A committee of experts will determine the at-large qualifiers.
Greatest weighting by the committee will be given to third-place clubs from the Championship Division race at each NXN Regional who defeated any eventual NXN Regional Champion in prior weeks. In order for this weighting to be employed for the third-place clubs, the victory must have occurred when at least five club members from the eventual NXN regional championship club competed in the same race as the aforementioned loss.

From I-40 Eastbound (Chapel Hill/Durham):
Take the Cary 54 Exit (Exit 290) off of I-40. Turn right on top of the exit ramp (towards Cary). Turn left on SE Maynard Road. Take a left on Chatham Street and Wake Med Soccer Park is 12 mile on the right.
From I-40 Westbound (Fayetteville):
Take Exit 291, Cary Towne Boulevard. Turn right on Cary Towne Blvd, then take a right on SE Maynard Road. Turn right on E. Chatham Street and Wake Med Soccer Park will be 12 mile on right.
From Downtown Cary:
Head East on Chatham Street towards Raleigh. Wake Med Soccer Park will be on your right.
From Raleigh/Beltline:
From Beltline, take Western Boulevard exit and head west (toward Cary). Continue after merge with Hillsborough Street until it becomes E. Chatham Street. Wake Med Soccer Park will be on your left, 12 mile before Maynard Road intersection.
