Washington Yu Ying PCS Parent Association is hosting its inaugural
Year of the Snake 5K Run,
Great Walk to China, & Kid Dash on
Saturday June 8, 2013 at 8:00 AM
in the Brookland neighborhood of Washington, DC.
Proceeds from the event benefit the schools Trip to China Fund, established to provide financial assistance to Yu Ying families sending their children on the annual 5th grade China trip.

Start Line Location: Campus of Catholic University (3900 Harewood Road NE)
Kid Dash Start Time: 10:00 AM
Location: Campus of Washington Yu Ying (220 Taylor Street NW)

About Washington YuYing Public Charter School
Washington Yu Ying Public Charter School was founded in 2007 as the first public school in the District of Columbia to offer Chinese language immersion. Our students come from all eight wards in the District of Columbia and are as diverse as the city. Yu Ying is one of only a handful of public Chinese immersion programs in the nation and is on the leading edge of elementary education by combining a Chinese language immersion program within the renowned International Baccalaureate curriculum framework.
