The USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Des Moines, Iowa will have a Florida flare. The Sunshine state is represented in the junior division by several high school standouts as well as area college freshman. In the senior decision numerous Florida natives and those who go or went to school in the state, range from college standouts to professional athletes will be trying to punch their tickets to the World Championships in Moscow.
Indiana University freshman Stephen Keller (Kouts, Ind.) is in 10th place after day 1 of the Decathlon at the USA Junior Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

On balance, it was a mixed bag kind of day for the Colorado-connected contingent at the USA Outdoor and USA Junior Outdoor Track and Field Championships today in Des Moines.
