Lloydricia Cameron brought home a World Youth Trials Championship on day one. She is back at the shot put in day two. Lots of sprinters in action in the 100,200, and 400, as well. Some of the top high school track and field athletes converged in a hot and humid Edwardsville, Illinois for the World Youth Trials.  Through the first day of competition it has been evident that to claim one of the coveted 42 spots to Ukraine, its going to take some major eye-popping performances.

T.C. Williams freshmen Noah Lyles qualified to compete on the USATF World Youth championship team headed to Ukraine from July 10th-14th after finishing 3rd in the men's 200 at the USATF World Youth Trials in Illinois this past week with a time of 21.62.
