Meet Information
Kameni Sports is pleased to present its second annual Gold Athletics Gala. This prestigious event hopes to again attract some of the most talented athletes from Grand Bahama, Nassau and the Family Islands. Open to all Schools, Clubs and unattached athletes this event is set to take place at the Grand Bahama Sports Complex on the 16th June.
This Track and Field Invitational will aim to provide a rich mixture of established international stars and aspiring juniors as they line up together in contention for Kameni Sports Grand Award. This event is designed with the athlete in mind as it sets out to provide an inspirational arena and first class competition opportunities. The Gala is sanctioned by the Bahamas Association of Athletic Association (BAAA)
Once again we are excited and honored to have support from a host of sponsors within the community of Grand Bahama and Nassau. This will be a tremendous occasion and we encourage all Schools and Clubs to participate in what should be a fantastic day in Track City!!
GOLD ATHLETICS GALA 2012

Freeport, Bahamas
Facilities: The Grand Bahama Sport Complex Stadium is a 400m Beynon track with eight lanes. The long and triple jump will be held on the Centre in view of the V.I.P stand.
Spikes Pyramid & Xmas tree spikes of 1/4: (6mm) or smaller are allowed. No pin or needle spikes.
Eligibility: Open to all Senior, College, High and Primary School track teams or individuals.
Entry Deadline: The entry deadline for all entries is Friday June 15th, 2012. All entries should be emailed to gbtrack@yahoo.com. Faxed copies will only be accepted on official entry form. No additions will be made after this date --scratches ONLY.
Entries Fee: The entry fee will be $5.00 per athlete. The entry fee can be paid on entry or during the time of packet pick up.
Relay: Each team submitting relay $5.00 per relay
Heats/Flights All running events will be run as Timed Finals.
Event Check In Athletes must check in with the Marshall 15 minutes prior to the start of the event. Field event athletes are to check in at the competition area.
Food Concession stand will be available
Meet Results Meet results will be posted on www.kamenisports.com after the meet.
Awards Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers
