The women on NC
State cross country are currently ranked No.

Chmiel was named ACC women's Freshman of the Week on Oct. 9.
Last season, NC
State extended the NCAA record for most appearances at the championship with 35; they broke the record in 2015 when they reached 32. The women have had three
top 10 national finishes within the last five years. They've also won the last
three ACC Cross Country Championships and NCAA South East Regionals.
addition of Chmiel, the Wolfpack will be trying to chase their first ACC indoor
and outdoor championships. In 2019, the Wolfpack placed sixth indoor and
outdoor. Their highest program finish came in outdoor season of 2013, scoring
82 points for third place.
Walters joins Florida
cross country champion, Alyssa
