We're in the thick of the cross country season, and it won't be long until athletes gear up for qualifying races ahead of Foot Locker Nationals. We took a look to see who in the midwest region has run fast times so far this year.
Ann Arbor Pioneer's (MI) Zofia Dudek ran the fastest time in not only the Midwest region but also one of the fastest times in the nation. Dudek clocked a 17:08.60 at the MSU Spartan Invitational. The time is the fourth-fastest time in the nation. Glenbard West High School's (IL) Katelynne Hart holds the fastest 3-mile time in the country. Hart ran16:28.70 at the Hornet/Red Devil Invitational.
