| Greater Atlanta Christian (GA) | Hurdles/Jumps | Jones has developed into a dominant and versatile hurdler. She blew the field away at Arcadia in the 100mH in a US No. 1 time of 13.33. She more recently collected her third Georgia State Championship in the 100mH and first in the long jump with a new state record of 20-2.25. In 2018, she had a tremendous season indoors, solidifying herself on the all-time list as No. 9 in the 55mH and No. 10 in the 60mH -- scoring a second-place finish at New Balance Nationals Indoor. She own PRs of 7.85 in the 55mH, 8.15 in the 60mH, 13.33 in the 100mH, 11.86 in the 100m, 41.81 in the 300mH, and 1:00.67 in the 400mH. |

| Buford (GA) | Sprints | The summer track circuit has birthed another 400m star in Harris. This past indoor season, she won NBNI and ran a US No. 6 all-time 400m in 52.62, which was her fourth 52-second performance overall. She currently sits comfortably at US No. 9 in the 400m with her recent state championship win. With NBNO and USATF JOs in sight, her PRs of 52.33 and 23.39 are in jeopardy. |
8 | Victoria Starcher
| Ripley (WV) | Distance | During indoor season she ranked US top-10 at 800m, 1500m, 1-Mile and 3200m. This season won the 1-mile at The Penn Relays and broke Mary Cain's record from 2012, running 4:38.19. The time is a new PR for Starcher, current US No. 1 and places her No. 7 on the US HS all-time list. Her PRs make her competitive in any event under the mid-distance umbrella; 2:07.42 in the 800m, 4:21.91 in the 1500m (in), 4:46.61 in the 1600m, and 10:20.54 in the 3200m. |
9 | Leah Phillips
| Bullis School (MD) | Hurdles/Jumps | She had a big win at Arcadia in the 300mH in 40.82, which is currently US No. 2. She was fifth amongst the best high school hurdlers in the world in the 400mH at Penn Relays with a new PR and US No. 4 (59.05). And if the long hurdle dominance wasn't enough, Phillips is a consistent mid-13, low 14 short hurdler. She ran a convincing 13.56 in the 100mH in early May for a current US No. 9 time. |
10 | Morgan Smalls
| Panther Creek (NC) | Jumps | Smalls' indoor season left people shocked as she solidified her name in the record books. At the NCHSAA 4A State Indoor Championship, she broke the indoor state record in the high jump, clearing 6-1 with an attempt available at another height. She followed NBNI with the second best HS jump all-time, clearing 6-3.25 to set a new junior class national record. While high jump is her strength, she also showed off her talents in the long jump and triple jump. In the triple jump she is ranked US No. 2 with a 41-9.75 and No. 6 in the long jump with a 19-11.5. This outdoor season she's remained dominant in the high jump with the current US No. 1 jump of 6-0.75 and US No. 8 triple jump of 41-4. |
11 | Alicia Burnett
| Parkway North (MO) | Sprints | Burnett made a name for herself in 2017 when she ran 11.47 at the Class 4 Sectional 2. She had some major wins that year like the Missouri State Track and Field Championships, Brooks PR and the AAU Junior Olympics. Since then -- after sitting out a spring due to a transfer -- she's been staying consistent in the mid-11's in the 100m, while improving her 200m. Prior to her state championship win in the event she ran a new PR and US No. 14 of 23.46. Lastly, Burnett also won the state championship in the 100m with a 11.58 for a new US No. 27. |
12 | Taylor Ewert
| Beavercreek (OH) | Distance | Ewert is one of the most decorated race walkers in high school history. At Penn Relays this year she set a new American Junior record in the 5K race walk with a time of 22:28.61. Earlier, she set the high school indoor record for the mile RW (6:38.21) at the 112th NYRR Millrose Games. She holds outdoor American Junior records in the 3K and 5K race walk and indoor American Junior records in the 1500m, mile and 3K racewalk. But Ewert is just as dominant in distance running, winning Gatorade XC Player of the Year in Ohio in 2018 after running the third fastest 5K all-time on Ohio soil and finishing top-5 at Foot Locker Nationals and NXN. During the indoor season, she ranked top-15 in 6 running events. Currently, Ewert is US No. 15 in the 2000m steeplechase with a 7:03.42 and No. 16 in the 3200m with a 10:17.85. |
