Indoor season is headed our way in the ensuing months, so we're releasing the nation's top returnees in each indoor event over the next few weeks.
In the girls distance events, North Rockland (NY) High School junior Katelyn Tuohy owns three of her classes best all-time marks in the 1500m, 3K and 2-mile, and this winter she will test herself in a professional 3K field in January at The Armory. She also was the only girls runner last year to break 10 minutes in the 2-mile.

But we also can't forget about national-class athletes like Marlee Starliper, who owns the fastest returning 1-mile time, and Emily Covert, who's tops returning in the 3200m. Indiana's Emma Wilson is the fastest returner in the 1600m.
