The weekend is over, and wow, what a crazy few days it was.

A number of states across the country culminated their regular seasons with state championship races.

But who won the weekend?

That one is easy. There's little doubt who had the most dominant performance overall. That was none other than Flower Mound (TX) senior Alex Maier, who stormed into the finish in the Class 6A Championships in Texas to take his first state title -- a year after he DNF'ed due to an upper respiratory condition.

So a big congrats goes out to Maier.

Check out the top 500 performances in the 5K and 3-Mile races over the weekend.
