The final full week of December offered a glimpse of what the indoor season has in store as the calendar turns toward a new year. Even amid the holiday break, athletes were already making their mark. Natalie Dumas reminded everyone why she is one of the most versatile high school athletes in the country, Quincy Wilson and Mya Arrendall continue to dominate, and Peyton Trammer claimed the top spot on the U.S. sprint leaderboard with a 60-meter personal best. While many are still finding their rhythm, these performances signaled that some competitors are already ahead of the pack.
