The Brooks XC West Championship is quickly approaching. Slated for November 29th at the Mt. Sac Cross Country course in Walnut, California, the top runners in the West will clash for a coveted regional championship title and a qualifying spot at the Brooks XC National Championships in San Diego on December 13.

The West remains the nation's most explosive region, with a cascade of sub-14:35 efforts pushing championship expectations even higher. Jackson Spencer (UT) leads the way, but the story is the depth: Washington, Oregon, and Idaho all feature multiple athletes capable of controlling any race.
