The Brooks XC South Championship is quickly approaching. Slated for November 29th at McAlpine Park in Charlotte, North Carolina, the top runners in the South will clash for a coveted regional championship title and a qualifying spot at the Brooks XC National Championships in San Diego on December 13th.

The South Region girls' rankings tighten even further heading into championship week, with Averi Lowen's 16:27 at Great American setting the tone for a blazing-fast top tier. Texas continues to supply major depth behind Macy Wingard, Laney Barnes, and freshman standout Elin Latta, while Georgia, Tennessee, and Arkansas add balance with multiple athletes inside the top 15.
