The Brooks XC South Championship is quickly approaching. Slated for November 29th at McAlpine Park in Charlotte, North Carolina, the top runners in the South will clash for a coveted regional championship title and a qualifying spot at the Brooks XC National Championships in San Diego on December 13.

The Southern Region is showing both depth and rising stars this season. Averi Lowen (GA) holds the top spot with 16:27.20, while Texas continues to churn out strong performances from Macy Wingard, Laney Barnes, and Elin Latta. Tennessee's Calysta Garmer and Jazzlyn Garmer keep the Volunteer State in contention, showing that multiple states are capable of fielding top-tier talent.
