Brooks XC Midwest Region Rankings: Top 1000 Boys

Register For The Brooks XC Midwest Region Championship

The Brooks XC Midwest Championship is quickly approaching. Slated for November 29th at UW-Parkside in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the top runners in the Midwest will clash for a coveted regional championship title and a qualifying spot at the Brooks XC National Championships in San Diego on December 13.

Colorado is dominating the Mountain States in this week's Brooks XC rankings, led by Jay McDonald (Summit) at 14:18.79 from the Warrior Lincoln Park Classic. Fellow Coloradans Oliver Horton (Coronado) and Dylan Blair (Eagle Valley) join McDonald in the top five, showing the depth the state has developed this season.

South Dakota has strong representation as well, with Mikah Peters (Brandon Valley) and Miles Lechtenberg (Sioux Falls Lincoln) both running under 14:33 at the Augustana Twilight XC Meet. Utah's Benjamin Adams (Mountain Vista) and Aidan Neal (Alta) also make waves in the West, giving the region multiple runners under 14:33.

Beyond the Mountain States, Indiana, Iowa, and Kansas have produced standout performances. Noah Bontrager (Westview, IN) and Daniel Enriquez (Kapaun Mt. Carmel, KS) have each posted times under 14:36, while Iowa's Kuma Gutema and Quentin Nauman are showing strong consistency this fall. The Mountain States region is proving it has a mix of top-tier talent and depth across multiple states.
