Register For The Brooks XC Midwest Region Championship

The Brooks XC Midwest Championship is quickly approaching. Slated for November 29th at UW-Parkside in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the top runners in the Midwest will clash for a coveted regional championship title and a qualifying spot at the Brooks XC National Championships in San Diego on December 13.

Things are coming up all Michigan in today's Midwest regional rankings.

Occupying the first three spots are three girls from the Great Lake State. Natasza Dudek (Ann Arbor Pioneer) looks to blaze her own trail a couple of years after her sister, Zofia Dudek, ran away with the Foot Locker XC Championships in 2019. The sophomore from Ann Arbor set a personal best time of 16:11.13 last month and will the one to beat in Kenosha in November.

Emma Hoffman (Ostego) and Katie Berkshire (Gaylord) are not too far behind and will be major players at next month's showcase. Hoffman ran a 16:20.52 last month, while Berkshire set her personal best just a few days ago at her state's regional championships.

Few things are certain, but expect several girls from Michigan vying for the region's ultimate crown in just four weeks time.
