In the last six weeks, three of the six indoor sprint national records have been broken by three different athletes, making for a historic and unprecedented indoor campaign.

At the 117th Millrose Games, Imhotep Institute Charter's Jayden Horton-Mims ran 32.62 to match the 300m national record, tying the mark set by Lakeside's (Ga.) Brian Herron in 2018.

The week prior, at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix, Bullis School (Md.) superstar and Paris Olympian Quincy Wilson lowered his own 400m national record down to 45.66, the first sub-46 indoor performance since 2004.

At the 2025 VA Showcase, Bayside's (Va.) Andrew Salvodon ran 1:00.49 over 400m, becoming the first-ever high schooler to run under 61 seconds.
