Maryland private school conferences are just as important as states! Athletes feel the same nerves and the same adrenaline, their times and marks don't differ. They should be seen as equals when it comes to championship season.

Kennedy Flynn won the 100m dash in 12.25 in front of Maya Davis who ran12.63. Bullis swept the 200m led by Mirai Bernard in 23.83, which was a meet record performance. Sydney Sutton 23.92 and Sage Hinton 24.45 placed 2nd and 3rd. The Bullis trio came back for more to sweep the 400m! Bernard US#13 won in 53.99, Hinton US #15 earned 2nd in 54.12, and Sutton took 3rd in 54.49. Myla Greene had a hurdle takeover in the 100mH and 300mH! She ran to a meet record of 13.67 followed by her teammates Kennedy Flynn 13.95 and Gabby White 14.19. Greene ran a US #1 time of 40.48 in the 300mH with another sweep of her teammates Gabby White 43.27 and Tatum Lynn 43.27. Lauren Leath ran a meet-record 800m in 2:11.64. Morgan Rothwell followed behind her in 2:16.19. Reagan Exley won the 1600m in 5:10.00. Ella Moore finishes with 5:13.61 for 2nd. Sidwell Friends teammates placed 1st and 2nd in the 3200! Isabel Limao 11:43.53 and Jasmine Singh 11:45.23. 

Aleah Schwartz won discus with 113-00. Danielle Foster won shot put with a throw of 35-02.00, Aleah Schwartz earned her 2nd medal with 34-02.00! Morgan Bridges took gold in both the high jump and triple jump! She jumped 5-00.00 in the high jump and 40-03.00 for gold. Tatum Lynn took 2nd in the high jump 4-08.00 and Reagan Schwartz 36-01.50 for 2nd in the triple jump. Ava Gregory jumped 18-07.50 for gold in the long jump followed by Reagan Schwartz at 18-01.25. Sidwell Friends won the 4x800 in 9:53.72. Bullis won the 4x100 in 48.36 which was a new meet record. They came back for a 4x400 win and meet a record of 3:44.22! Bullis School took home the ISL team title with 237 with no one challenging them! Sidwell Friends finished 2nd with 62 points and The Potomac School with 60 points.


IAC/MAC

Andrew King won 10 points for Flint Hill in the 100m dash winning with a 10.95, followed by Kofi Igyan 11.14 and Reed Phillips 11.15. The freshman Quincy Wilson took gold in the 200m with his 21.50 performance! Phillips earned his 2nd medal with 22.27. No surprise Wilson came back for another victory in the 400m dash running 46.64 leading the Bullis sweep with Myles Pendarvis 50.91 and Bryce Stephenson! Tinoda Matsatsa won the 800m by a landslide in 1:49.80. Pierre Attiogbe came in 2nd at 1:54.70. Charlie Ortmans won the 1600m by almost 20 seconds, running 4:12.53! It was an extremely close finish by teammates of the Potomac School for 1st and 2nd in the 3200m. Ortmans 9:46.04 and Sasha Minsky 9:46:46. Franz Caillat won the 110mH in 15.78 followed by Christian Freeman 15.96. Alexander Lambert earned gold in the 300mH with 39.05 and Caillat got his 2nd medal with a 40.83!

Riley Jacobs won the high jump with a jump of 5-10.00. 2nd-6th place all jump 5-08.00 and had to go to tie breakers. Nate Shields took the long jump with his mark of 22-07.50. Clayton Gary placed 2nd 21-06.25. Chris Shorter won the triple jump with 43-00.50 followed by Avinash Lavu 41-11.50. Cole Sather took the win in pole vault 10-09.00. Nnamdi Udeogu won discus and shot put gold with his marks of 142-10.00 and 48-04.00! Bullis won the 4x100 in 42.60 and Georgetown Day School Finished 2nd running 43.21. Bullis won the 4x400 easily with 3:18.71. St. Alban took gold in the 4x800, running 8:10.17. St. Albans School takes home the IAC team title with 160 points! Bullis comes 2nd with 116 points and Georgetown Prep with 103 points.

Georgetown Day School wins the MAC team title by 89 points! Flint Hill finished 2nd with 100 points and Sidwell Friends with 85 points.

The competition was scarce but the results did not disappoint! Private schools are competitive opponents regardless of their leagues. Many more private school championships will be coming up so keep an eye out for them!
