Kori Martin saved her best for last.

The Hamilton (AZ) High School junior lowered her No. 3 all-time 100 meter hurdle performance at the AIA All-Class State Championships on Saturday at Mesa Community College, posting a time of 13.61 seconds.

That performance clinched the fastest performance ever submitted at the AIA state championships.

The time also clipped off 0.06 seconds from her previous best and continues to inch up closer to Saira Prince's all-time record of 13.58, which was achieved at Arcadia this season.

Ashlee Moore is No. 2 in Arizona history with an effort of 13.59. That came at the World U20 Championships in 2014.
