Kate Putman Holds Off Napoleon In Wild 800m At Loucks Games


This race came down to the wire. 

Cicero-North Syracuse's Kate Putman held off Allegany-Limestone's Angelina Napoleon in a wild 800 meter race on Saturday at the Loucks Games in New York, winning in a time of 2:06.50. 

Napoleon followed just four tenths later in 2:06.95. 

In total, five girls broke 2:10 for 800 meters.
