It's post season time. That means it's time to shine for cross country athletes around the nation.

This past weekend of action saw a lot of racers place impressively at Champs Sports regional meets, win state titles and even earn first-ever Team Nationals bids.

Take a look below at the featured athletes for The Podium for Nov. 29.

The Podium (Nov. 29):

Kaiya Brooks, Crystal Springs Uplands (CA): Earned a CIF Division 5 state title -- the first of her career -- with a 5k PR of 17:54.14 on Nov. 26. Not only did Brooks win an indvidual title, but she helped Crystal Springs Uplands to a significant upset in the team race, earning the state title by just two points over San Francisco University.

Maximus Haynia, Westhampton Beach (NY): Ran under 16 minutes for 5k for the first time ever, and did so on the big Team New York Regionals stage on Nov. 26 to win the meet. That earned Haynia a coveted trip to Team Nationals on Dec. 3.

Jaelyn Williams, Eastlake (CA): The freshman placed fourth at the CIF D1 state championships, running a 5k PR of 17:38.84 en route to that impressive finish. Williams also earned a trip to Team Nationals on Dec. 3 for her state meet performance.

Radek Molchan, Knoxville Catholic (TN): Finished 36th at the Champs Sports South Regional on Nov. 26, running 15:43.6 for 5k. Molchan was the only freshman in the boys championship race to place in the top 150 overall.
