We've kicked off the 2022 cross country season, and that means it's time to jumpstart our National Performer Of The Week polls.

Among the boys competition this past week, many athletes posted new personal bests, course records and nationally-ranked times.

Each week, we will recognize one boy and one girl National Performer Of The Week, beginning with the nominations on Monday. The poll will close each Friday and we will announce winners on the following Monday.

These are the nominations for the first National Performer Of The Week poll of the fall cross country season.

Rocky Hansen, Christ School (NC): The senior opened up his season at the Eye Opener in Spartanburg, S.C., where he ran a 24-second 5k personal best and course record of 14:57.60 to win the international boys race.
