2021 - Kaila Jackson Clocks AAU National Record In 23.01

Last year in Humble, Texas, Kaila Jackson broke three AAU national records in the sprints. Between the 100m, 200m and 4x100m, arguably the most memorable record was her 200m from the semi-finals.
Throughout the 2021 season, Jackson has been focusing on her start and her turn. It all came together for her at the AAU Junior Olympics.
Before grabbing the gold, Jackson left it out on the track in the second round of the championships when she crossed the finish line in 23.01 for a new personal best. In the finals, Jackson clocked a 23.34 to solidify the victory.
