Wilson remains the only thrower to ever surpass 58 feet in the shot put outdoors and 57 feet indoors, putting her ahead of Raven Saunders on the all-time lists and setting a new bar to reach in girls high school throws.

The Donovan Catholic (NJ) talent went on a tear as a senior in 2017, setting the outdoor shot record at the Pan American Games en route to a gold medal finish and the indoor all-time mark at the Eastern States Championships.

Wilson's talent extended beyond the shot put, too, ranking tenth on the all-time high school list in the discus. As a collegian, Wilson competed at UCLA and later for Texas State and earned a first-place finish in the shot put at the 2018 World U20 Championships.

With Wilson's consistent streak of excellence as a teenager, she set never-before-seen records and redefined elite standards for girls at the high school discipline.
