Sometimes, those PRs just hit differently.
And we're sure that was the case for Robert Paneque of Jackson Memorial (NJ), who secured a new personal record of 208 feet, 6 inches at the NJSIAA Group 2 & 4 Championships from June 10-11 in Somerset.
That performance was Paneque's first over 200 feet and landed him inside the top 10 of the national rankings, falling to No. 6.
In doing so, the New Jersey athlete also won the National Performer of the Week honor, securing over 532 tallies and just a shade over 58-percent of the vote.
A big congrats goes out to Robert on the win.
