Performance: Heading into the elusive meet in Nashville, Wasson ran a new best of 9:17.10 in the 3,200m at the RunningLane Track Championships.
But the freshman didn't stop there.
A week later in Nashville, Wasson dropped nearly 14 seconds off his previous 3,200m PR with a 9:03.67 for third place at the Music City Track Carnival. That puts Wasson fourth among all freshmen boys in the 3,200m this outdoor season.
