WATCH: Mary Ellen Eudaly Grabs 1,600m Win In Last 200 Meters


Cambridge Christian went 1-2 on Wednesday in the Class 1A final of the 1,600m at the FHSAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, with Mary Ellen Eudaly scoring her second straight title in a new class record of 4:48.27. 

Teammate Caroline Lehman, who led through 1,400 meters, was second in 4:49.67, while The Master's Academy's Ava Wyant was third in 4:53.39. 

Eudaly surpassed the former class record of 4:48.90, which was last accomplished by Jenny Barringer-Simpson in 2004 for Oviedo.
