Franklin's 2022 outdoor season has been an undefeated one in the discus and the shot put.
Entering Penn Relays, she was navigating through an injury and it was unclear how she would perform. But the Michigan signee came out with a win with a throw of 48 feet, 2.5 inches in the shot put.
This weekend, she will look to grab double wins in the throws and continue her undefeated streak. Franklin has thrown season bests of 138-7 and 49-5, respectively.
