Throughout this year, I have been eyeing Penn State's most recent recruiting men's track and field class.

They've signed a handful of excellent young talents and potentially even a few potential game-changers.

However, it felt like they were just one recruit away from having something truly special.

The tipping point may have come last Tuesday. 

The introduction of Maryland native Sage Phillips helped push the Nittany Lion's current recruiting class from "good" to "great".

While we're talking about Phillips, we might as well start with him.

The senior from DeMartha Catholic High School is a very solid hurdles talent who exudes exciting collegiate potential.
