We're back with the top 500 returners in the discus throw.
And we have some real stars coming into the fray in 2022. Carson City-Crystal (MI) senior Zane Forist, for instance, was one of five boys over 200 feet last year. Furthermore, he was also one of two juniors to go over that mark -- the other being Jeremiah Nubbe.
Forist also unfurled an indoor national record of 207-9 in the discus back in January. So just what can he offer in 2022? We'll find out.
On the girls side, it's going to be a race to the top. Lewisville Marcus junior Emma Sralla -- a U20 dual-national for Sweden -- threw a No. 4 all-time sophomore mark of 170-8 a year ago, and she was one of five girls -- non-seniors in 2021 -- to go over 160 feet overall.
