WATCH: Track Life Girls Clock 1:36.82 In The 4x200

The Track Life University and Police Athletic League (PAL) girls had a special outing ready for the weekend.

On Saturday at the Michigan Indoor Track Series State Indoor Championships, the foursome from Detroit once again came through, lowering their U.S. No. 1 performance of 1:37.09 to 1:36.82 behind the efforts of Kaila Jackson,  Chloe Vines, Comari Hawkins and Leeah Burr.

That performance on its own would be No. 10 all-time.

But a few things prevent it from being a record attempt. The team comprised of three teammates from Detroit Renaissance (Jackson, Vines and Burr) and another from East Lansing (Hawkins), while the effort came on an oversized track.

But, performances are performances. With one or two more efforts scheduled for March, this team likely isn't finished yet.
