Cross country is officially in full swing and many athletes across the country are opening up their season.

At the Circle City Conference Championships, Lily Cridge crossed the finish line with the fastest 5K of the weekend. She crossed the finish line in 17:27.30 and earned a 148 speed rating.

She was the only athlete to break 18-mintues for 5K on Brebeuf Jesuit's course. Cridge showed her dominance and won this event by nearly 80-seconds.

The junior from Bishop Chatard (IN) tallied 500 votes over the week, which was about 48-percent of the votes.

Congratulations Cridge on this accomplishment last weekend.
