MileSplit Weekend Replay: Highlights From The Biggest Meets

This weekend there were over 10 meets live on MileSplit with several more archived on the site. Below we break down some of the key races you may have missed from the weekend. 

California had a massive weekend last weekend with tons of live section races. The video above is from the CIF-Southern Section Division 1 Prelims where Saugus High School's (CA) Hannah Fredericks ran the fastest 1600m time of the meet posting a 4:52.52. She beat Crescenta Valley (CA) superstar Mia Barnett's time (4:53.04) from the first section by a little over a second.

Idaho's regular season wrapped up a few weeks ago but that hasn't stopped Nathan Green from going out and competing. The University of Washington signee ran a new Us No. 1 time of 4:00.97 in the full mile at the YMCA Invitational. The state of Illinois had race videos, interviews, and photos from lots of meets over the weekend including the Southwest Prairie Boys Conference. At the Southwest Prairie Boys Conference, Minooka High School's (IL) Tyler Colwell clocked an all-conditions 10.48 (+2.8) to win the 100m dash. New Jersey

Over the weekend New Jersey had section meets. Check out tons of coverage from all the meets here and watch a close 400mH battle between Pennsauken High sophomore Bryce Tucker and Premier Wynn. 

• Race Videos Groups 2 & 3

It was state championships weekend in Ohio and with all three divisions live on MileSplit there's plenty to catch up if you weren't paying attention. Watch Westerville South's (OH) Marissa Saunders battle Gahanna Lincoln's (OH) Camden Bentley in the 100mH. Both athletes ran US top 30 times.

Pennslyina had the John Hay Pennsylvania Distance Festival over the weekend where Archbishop Wood's Gary Martin crushed it in the Mile. The junior ran a new state record time of 4:03.53 with an en-route 1,600m time of 4:02.15.
