White Knoll's (SC) Kaniya Johnson Takes Home Two State Titles

White Knoll High School's (SC) Kaniya Johnson had the two biggest performances of her career to date when it mattered most. Johnson competed in both the 100m dash and 200m dash this past weekend at the SCHSL Class 5A State Championships and won titles in both.
In the 100m, the junior clocked an 11.53 (+1.5) second performance while in the 200m she dipped below 24-seconds for the third time in her career. Johnson ran 23.58 seconds for the fastest FAT/wind-legal 200m performance of the weekend, the fastest ever in the state of South Carolina and US No. 7 in 2021.
