Since Green was a freshman, he has dominated both the cross country courses and the track and field scene at the state championships. He will be in the hunt for his next set of individual track and field titles. So far in his track and field career, Green won three track and field titles and has remained undefeated on the cross country course at the state championships.
At the 5A District 3 Championships, he won the 1600m and the 3200m. He leads the state in these two events in 4:07.86 and 9:01.13 respectively, while also being ranked US No. 11 in the 1600m.
The Washington commit will have a chance to defend these two titles since the 2020 state championship was canceled due to the pandemic. Green is also US No. 1 in the 2K steeplechase this year with a 5:56.62.
